Reyna Trevino

Reyna Trevino, born and raised in Los Angeles, California – She envisioned herself working in the entertainment industry, but what Reyna soon found out was that there were very few Latinas in the Entertainment Industry who taking on executive positions and serving as role models.

Reyna chose to plot her course in education at Cal State Northridge where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and worked on various independent contracts in event production and promotion. She also attended UCLA where she took business courses catered to the entertainment industry. Reyna’s hard work and perseverance withstood the tedious steps of success and made an impression upon very key individuals who would help launch Reyna’s career as a professional in the Entertainment Business.

While Reyna was achieving academic success as a student she worked on various productions assisting with booking talent. Such productions included The American Music Awards, MTV Awards, The Soul Train Awards and others. In 1997 she was approached by the GENERAL MANAGER of RMM/Universal Music Group and offered the position of WEST COAST PUBLICIST. She accepted the position as an opportunity to advance herself as a young Latina and to expand her possibilities in the Entertainment Industry. She quickly found her niche when she began marketing her new Latin talent to her mainstream media contacts.

Reyna helped fuel a new phenomenon in booking not only Latino talent but also Urban and Mainstream artists on television talk shows. She had measured success in booking her talent at major award shows and events. She also moved quickly to capitalize her business contacts to benefit from the new mainstream appreciation of Latino talent.

Reyna’s success was so impressive, she was soon approached by legendary recording artist Tito Puente who encouraged to open up her own publicity company with the understanding that he would be Reyna’s first client. Many other artists then followed such as Boyz II Men, Marc Anthony, Deborah Cox, Tyrese Gibson and many others under her under new founded company Trevino Enterprises; allowing Reyna to live her dream and realize her goal.

Entering her 15th year as a business owner Reyna Trevino has attained her clients by word of mouth and her company continues to grow. She is not only limited to the entertainment industry but has also acquired clients throughout the years such as Chrysler, Got Milk Campaign, Madres Restaurant (J.Lo’s restaurant) and other companies. Trevino Enterprises succeeds in providing marketing, publicity, event and talent coordinating services in the Urban, Mainstream, and Latin Market. Trevino Enterprises now produces their own seasonal events following some of the Major Award shows as well as organize other exclusive events throughout the year.
